PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insecticidal treating agent for lumber which does not impart a bad influence to the human body and an insecticidal treating method using the same. SOLUTION: An inside of lumber is impregnated with an inorganic first liquid having silicic acid as a main component and thereafter, further impregnated with an inorganic second liquid having a silane as a main component.
