PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a marking device for efficiently marking a ceramic construction plate being carried with less thrust on the ceramic construction plate. SOLUTION: The marking device 1 comprises a conveyor 2 for carrying the ceramic construction plate 4 and a marking machine 3 arranged above the conveyor 2. The marking machine 3 has a rotatable plate 31 rotatable along the carrying direction of the conveyor 2 and one or more marker 32 mounted at the peripheral end 311 of the rotatable plate 31. The marker 32 is pushed against the plate surface 41 of the ceramic construction plate 4 being carried via the conveyor 2 in marking the plate surface 41.
