PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a down quilt which improves the heat retaining capability in the center compared with conventional down quilts, without raising the material cost by using the same amount of the fillings, and which also offers better appearance and touch in use. SOLUTION: A pair of a front cloth (1) and a back cloth (2), being the same in size and shape, is longitudinally connected via two opposing division cloths (4A, 4A) which have a prescribed width between the front cloth (1) and the back cloth (2) and a length lengthwise, each placed far enough from the longitudinal center line along the nearest division lines, and is horizontally connected either directly or via two opposing division cloths (4C) along the lines extending in the cross direction up to a proper distance. The edges of those front and back cloths are also connected together, forming a plurality of small divisions stuffed with down. This down quilt is provided with a supplementary division cloth (3) which is longitudinally connected with either one of the front cloth (1) or the back cloth (2), along the division cloths (4A, 4A) nearest to the longitudinal center line, and is connected with the other, along the longitudinal center line via a cross supplementary division cloth (9) having a narrow width between those cloths.
