PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rat trap which can singly continuously trap even highly intelligent and cautious rats such as Rattus rattus. SOLUTION: This rat trap comprises a rat trap box 1 having a covered space 1a for receiving a rat M and having a rat M-dropping opening 1b whose upper surface is opened, a pair of cover plates 2 vertically disposed on the rat trap box 1, seesaw plates 3 which are usually disposed between the cover plates 2 in an upward inclined state and downward inclined, when the rat M climbs, a bait-loading member disposed above the seesaw plates 3, and an adhesive sheet 5 detachably disposed on the bottom of the rat trap 1.
