PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a porcelain composition restrained in shrinkage and deformation caused by firing, improved in dimensional accuracy and increased in strength of the porcelain by inhibiting the generation of voids caused by firing, and provide a flat-type display for which the porcelain composition is used as a spacer. SOLUTION: The glass containing at least PbO and/or Bi2O3, metallic Si and/or metallic Sn as a filler, and ZnO and/or SnO2 are mixed and the obtained mixture is subjected to formation. After the formation, firing is carried out so that the above specific metals can expand in volume by oxidation, and then the porcelain, the shrinkage of which by firing is inhibited, is obtained. The obtained porcelain is used as a spacer for the flat-type display. |
