SOLUTION: A containing part 6 is formed at a lower position in an operation control panel 2 disposed in a car of an elevator, an opening cover 7 is provided on the containing part 6 in such a way that it can be opened only at the time of emergency stop of a car 1, a portable telephone 8 is contained in the containing part 6, and the portable telephone 8 is fastened to a wall of the containing part 6 by a cord 9, so the portable telephone 8 can be taken out of the containing part 6, while it cannot be taken out of the car 1.
