PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container device for improving the space efficiency and the operation rate of a measuring system, facilitating the management of a remainder in lots, saving a space and coping with various-type measurement without causing mixture with different types and wastes. SOLUTION: The container device comprises a closed container 15 for storing powdered material, an discharge port 2 provided in the bottom of the closed container 15, means 12 for measuring the weight of the powdered material discharged from the discharge port 2, and control means 13 for controlling the opening/closing of the discharge port 2 in accordance with a measurement value by the measuring means 12, the closed container 1 being formed to be detachable. In the method of using the container device, the empty closed container 15 is fed to a powdered material provider after a powdered material user consumes the powdered material 18 and the closed container 15 is returned to the powdered material user after the empty closed container 15 is filled with the powdered material 18 (or other powdered materials).
