PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel opening/closing manual tool superior in commercial value. SOLUTION: The opening/closing manual tool such as a plier or a nipper comprises a pair of clamping halves 2, 3 with clamping portions at the ends pivotally mounted crossing each other and grip cylindrical materials 4 fitted to the base ends of the clamping halves 2, 3 to form grip portions 5. The base ends of the clamping halves 2, 3 to which the grip cylindrical materials 4 are fitted are formed thinner than pivotally mounted portions 6 or the clamping portions 1 of both clamping halves 2, 3, for reducing the weight thereof. The surfaces of the thinner base ends of the clamping halves 2, 3 are provided with recessed stationary portions 7 where adhesives are accumulated for adhering the grip cylindrical materials 4 thereto. |
