<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a toe-down quantity and easily hit a ball at its sweet spot even for a beginner golfer by forming a reinforcing tongue piece which abuts on a heel-side outer circumferential part of a shaft in such a state as projecting upward toward the heel side in the top end of a neck part of a head. SOLUTION: A reinforcing tongue piece 10 which abuts on a heel-side outer circumferential face 8 of a shaft 2 is formed in such a state as projecting upward toward the heel side H in the top end of a neck part 7 of a head 1. The reinforcing tongue part 10 is so tapered as reducing upward observed from the heel side and its inside and outside are formed into circular shapes in the cross section. The shaft 2 and the neck part 7 are stuck or firmly fixed to each other in a region form the tip of the shaft 2 inserted into the neck part 7 or its adjacent to the base of the reinforcing tongue part 10, namely the bottom end of a recessed part 11. This constitution allows the reinforcing tongue part 10 of the neck part 7 to abut on the heel-side outer circumferential face 8 of the shaft 2 so that the shaft 2 is hardly bent toward the toe side T and the heel side H.</p> |
