PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorizing apparatus which can stably apply voltage, has small pressure loss and is excellent in adsorption performance in spite of using solid active carbon as an electrode. SOLUTION: The exhaust gas deodorizing treating apparatus at least has a means for ionizing exhaust gas and a means for removing the ionized exhaust gas by physical adsorption to the electrode by electric field impressed between the electrodes. The exhaust gas deodorizing treating apparatus which is distinguished by using the solid active carbon as the electrode of at least one polarity, is provided.
