PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve rail sides, so that stop performance of runners which are inserted into the rails and used should not be affected, even in the case that the rails for prevention device against fall which are laid within multistory buildings including various kinds of steel-tower pillars are surface-treated. SOLUTION: The problem is solved to form projection lines in the driving sides of rails at the contact areas with brake parts of runners so as to accelerate the start of a brake means on the above runners, and mesh sufficiently with rails, by the destruction of the surface treatment layer on the above rails with the terminals of the brake parts.
