PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable hanging plate shelf, of which the hanging rods or hooks are not obstructive when being housed or carried about, of which the two hooks can be taken adjustable intervals, and which can be used approximately in horizontal setting to a wall face as well as at a place the wall face does not exist. SOLUTION: Hanging rod receivers (2), which are provided with an axis receiving hole (3) penetrated and with a constricted part (4) at the foot, are mounted on each right and left back side of things loading face of the plate shelf (1) in a way the axis receiving hole (3) is disposed axially to depth direction of the shelf. Opening/closing axes (7) of the hanging rods (5), which are provided with a hook (6) at one end and at another end with the opening/closing axis (7) having an angle to the hanging rod (5), are inserted into the rod receiving holes (3) on each right and left side, and as the occasion demands, the opening/closing axes (7) of the hanging rods (5) are pulled out of the axis receiving holes (3) and are inserted from the opposite direction into the axis receiving holes (3).
