PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a mud material for the blast-furnace tap hole excellent in its cracking resistance and depth extension. SOLUTION: The mud material for blast-furnace tap hole is produced by adding the phenol resin and tar together of 10-25 mass % in total, ketone compound of 0.1-10 mass %, and polyhydric alcohol of 0.1-10 mass % in accordance with the fireproof aggregate of 100 mass %, which include the wax-stone of 5-40 mass %. As occasion needed, the anionic sulfonate is further added in no more than 3 mass % in accordance with the fireproof aggregate 100 mass %. |
