PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feeding member capable of maintaining stable frictional force even at continuously paper feeding time and capable of exhibiting excellent paper feeding performance and a paper feeder using this member. SOLUTION: In this paper feeding member 1 composed of a core body 2 and an annular elastic body 3 installed on the outer peripheral surface, the annular elastic body 3 has plural projecting parts 4 on an inner peripheral surface fitted to the core body 2.
