PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To establish a method capable of stably and certainly manufacturing a phenol resin pipe of high quality without leaving air bubbles in a molded object or generating a bump-shaped blister flaw or the like caused by venting failure even if centrifugal molding is performed using a phenol resin in which a solvent such as water, methanol or the like used in a synthesizing process is left and which forms condensed water in a curing reaction process. SOLUTION: In centrifugally molding a pipe using a thermosetting liquid phenol resin with a non-volatile component concentration of 70 mass %, the temperature in a mold is held to 80-105 deg.C until the curing state of the phenol resin charged in the mold becomes 50 or more in Barcol hardness and the glass transition temperature (Tg) of the phenol resin becomes 130 deg.C or higher and, thereafter, the mold is cooled to take out the molded article.
