PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic wave generator which is capable of generating an intensive ultrasonic wave outside the generator. SOLUTION: The ultrasonic wave generator comprises a cylindrical radiator 3 which generates a standing wave generated by a traveling wave and a reflected wave in the longer direction, in response to the drive of an ultrasonic wave vibrator 1, a cylindrical reflector 5 which is coaxially installed inside the radiator 3 and reflects a sonic wave from the radiator 3 and a conical reflector 9 which is installed in such a way that its center axis coincides with the cylindrical axis of the radiator 3 and reflects the sonic wave emitted from a space between the radiator 3 and the reflector 5 to the interior of the reflector 5.
