PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cutting apparatus of a lattice body for a battery capable of preventing generation of variance in a cutting dimension even when a cutting speed is changed. SOLUTION: One of a cutter roll 1 and a feed roll 2 is used as a drive roll and is rotationally driven by a motor, the other roll is used as a driven roll and is rotationally driven in the same period as that of the drive roll while the motor drive force is transmitted thereto through a gear mechanism 6. A brake means 9 is arranged to brake so as to always impart a load to the driven roll.
