PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new wheelchair for nursing which can lighten the burden imposed on a patient and a helper, when the patient moves from a bed to the wheelchair with a helper's assistance. SOLUTION: This wheelchair for nursing is structured turnably toward a leg part unit 2 so that a seat unit 3 keeps the state for a patient to lie on one's back. Between a chair back 32 and a foot holding part 33, a supporting body 51 on a seat part 31 is hung. When the wheelchair is switched for lying face up state which the patient can lie temporarily on one's back, the chair back part 32 is moved to lean backward, the bending part 31a between the seat part 31 and the chair back 32 protrudes downward. Besides, the supporting body 51 suspended from the chair back part 32 and the foot holding part 33 is being floated from the bending point 31a and suspended like a hammock.
