PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suction base whose absorptive surface can be made larger for accurate mounting of a dental base on the inner oral surface without causing the burdens due to an application of a suction plate on the molding of a dental base when avoiding the use of an adhesive for mounting a maxillary denture that requires troublesome efforts. SOLUTION: One or a plurality of fixed holes 3 vertically penetrated through up and down the dental base 1 of the maxillary denture A and a suction plate 4 having an upper surface shaped into a concave absorptive surface 4a with the aid of a soft resin material is formed into the shape of a board to have an external diameter larger than an internal diameter of the above fixed hole 3, the thickness nearly comparable with that of the above dental base 1 and an external diameter of a V-shaped loop groove 40 on a peripheral surface is roughly comparable with an internal diameter of the above fixed hole 3. This suction plate 4 is then mounted to allow the absorptive surface 4a of the above suction plate 4 to expose on the upper surface of the dental base 1 and the bottom side to expose on the lower surface of the dental base 1 when the loop groove 40 and the fixed hole 3 of the dental base 1 to be fit in the oral edge 3a.
