Tubes (13) are connected by a web (17) to form at least an I-beam and may be combined to L-, U- or box section beams. Preferably made from carbon fiber the beams components are bonded together and the beams may be joined together to form e.g. frames with recesses formed in the web edges where tubes are joined. At beam intersections the webs may also be bonded together
