This invention relates to the storing, organizing and carrying of any type o f solid material. In this invention, the design of the utility box accommodates the installation of hinges on the base of the utility box and the use of pivoting pins to attach the top trays to the lids of the utility box. These features make it possible for th e user, upon opening the utility box, to view the entire contents without removing the trays in the utility box. In addition, the design of the utility box, including the location of the hinges and the use of pivoting pins alleviates that stress which is normally placed on the hinges of other utility boxes of similar design when these utility boxes are opened, closed or transported.
