发明名称 DIRECT CYCLE FAST REACTOR
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new direct cycle fast reactor, generating electric power by using a new coolant in place of liquid metal sodium and directly rotating a turbine with the coolant. SOLUTION: Super-critical pressure carbon dioxide is used as the coolant. The coolant heated in a reactor 1 moves to a turbine 2 and drives it and a generator, to generate electric power. Then, the coolant discharged from the turbine 2 passes via a regeneration heat exchanger 4 and a condenser 5, to be cooled and liquified. The liquified coolant is sent to the regeneration heat exchanger 4 by a pump 6 to exchange heat with the coolant exhausted from the turbine 2, so as to be pressurized to be over the super-critical pressure or higher and heated to the inlet temperature of the reactor. Then, the coolant heated to a prescribed temperature is introduced in the reactor 1 to be heated again.
