PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promptly perform access to data recorded in a hard disk, while suppressing required memory quantity of a RAM. SOLUTION: An image data management controller, which manages data in the hard disk by a management table of the RAM, is provided with the hard disk and the RAM as data recording means and all pieces of the data about pages are held in the RAM, while, information incidental to the pages such as band information is divided and held in the RAM and the hard disk, the band information, etc., in the RAM is rewritable by the band information in the hard disk, as necessary, among the data including image data recorded in the hard disk.
