PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide communication terminal equipment, with which much more enter keys can be provided in comparison with the area of a control panel and operability is improved. SOLUTION: In an input part 14, a cover 15 to be freely opened/closed is provided. On the cover 15, a second enter key 17 is provided and on the part overlaid with the cover 15, a first enter key 16 is provided. Opening/closing of the cover 15 is detected by a cover opening/closing detecting sensor 18 and when the cover 15 is opened, the equipment is automatically operated in a mode related to the first enter key 16. Therefore, since it is not necessary to perform the switching operation of the mode when utilizing the first enter key 16, operability can be improved. Further, setting of a function can be inputted corresponding to the mode even concerning the other keys. When the cover 15 is closed, control can be performed to transit the equipment to a mode before opening the cover 15 or a prescribed mode. |
