PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for manufacturing a high-performance display device by using a plastic substrate. SOLUTION: A release layer 102 is formed on a glass substrate 101 and after a light emitting element 104 is further formed thereon, the plastic substrate 106 is bonded by an end-sealing material 105 onto the light emitting element 104. Fluid 108 pressurized to high pressure is sprayed in this state to the exposed surface of the release layer 102 to destroy the release layer 102. As a result, the glass substrate 101 and an insulating film 103 are separated and thereafter the plastic substrate is bonded to the insulating film 103.
