PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital/analog(D/A) converting method for generating an analog output signal, while using a common weight generating element which has the set of prescribed weights. SOLUTION: A combined weight generation control digital signal 180 is generated by receiving plural weight generation control digital signals (13-1, 13-2,..., 13-K) for controlling a common weight generating element circuit 2A, and combining these signals in digital manner. By controlling the common weight generating element circuit 2A in response to the signal 180, an analog output signal/corresponding to the combination of plural weight generation control digital signals is generated.
