The invention relates to a set of stacking elements comprising box-shaped elements (1) whose upper side is provided with one or more coupling knobs (2) following a uniform arrangement pattern and having a fixed modular distance therebetween, and whose lower side is provided with complementary coupling elements, so that the said stacking elements can be coupled together. According to the invention, the coupling knobs (2), at least partially, define a symmetrical rotation surface which has a narrowing shape rounded upwardly to provide guide paths to the complementary coupling means. The largest transverse dimension of the surface (3) of an element (1) which has a single coupling knob (2) is smaller or equal to the difference between the corresponding diameter of the coupling knobs (2) and twice the modular distance. This way, a set of stacking elements is provided, said set involving, in a higher extent than known before, different degrees of difficulty for the positioning and orientation of the elements during stacking, depending on the number of the coupling knobs on the stacking elements.
