PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ion-conductive solid state electrolyte usable in a cell or the like by solving disadvantage as to the ionic conductivity of conventional ion-conductive solid state electrolytes by introducing a branched polymer having an oligoethylene oxide chain into an organic polymer together with lithium salt. SOLUTION: The ion-conductive solid state electrolyte comprises a base polymer having a linkage selected from ether, thioether, ester, carbonate, amide, amine and urethane linkages in its main chain, a high-branched polymer having a repeating unit composed of an oligoethylene oxide chain and a linking molecule bonded to the oligoethylene oxide chain in its main chain, and lithium salt. Particularly, when the high-branched polymer is blended with PEO, the ionic conductivity of the solid state electrolyte is improved compared with PEO alone. |
