PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a space heater having an improved comfortableness in which warm air heating and radiant heating can be simply changed over to each other, a circulation flow and lukewarm wind are formed around a user's feet without letting the user feel the airflow. SOLUTION: A high temperature gas change-over means 30 is provided in the heater to change the airflow from a fan 28 either to a radiant body 23 or to a warm-wind outlet 27, a radiant heating operation and a warm-wind heating operation can be simply charged over to each other by the change-over means 30. In the radiant heating, the air-flow from a circulation blowing means 31 is discharged to the upward of the heater and at the same time lukewarm wind is discharged around a user's feet from the outlet 27. Thus, air in the room is circulated to mix the whole room air, the temperature is made almost uniform more than in the radiative heating only, and a feel of warmness is enhanced. |
