PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clip which improves the workability of mounting the clip to a substrate, prevents the flawing of a take-out electrode part, makes the clip itself hardly deformable in fitting of the clip to the substrate, has the high fitting power to the substrate and has a structure not entailing the contact defect with the take-out electrode part and the clip during the expansion of a sealing resin. SOLUTION: One of both side pieces facing each other of the U-shaped clip, which exists on a conductive film side, is formed to a plane shape and the other which exists on the glass substrate side is formed to a curvilinear shape, of which the end opens round toward the outer side. The central segments of these side pieces are formed to such a projecting shape at which the openings are narrowed.
