PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an HCV antigen binding solid phase, capable of detecting an antibody against an HCV antigen, especially an NS3 region of them and/or capable of being adapted to a measuring system, having a high P/N ratio with respect to antigen against the NS3 region. SOLUTION: At the time of binding of an antigen to a solid phase, one or more kinds of a nonionic surfactant, having a 8-17C alkyl group as a hydrophobic hydrocarbon chain and having 6-25 polyoxyethylene groups as a hydrophilic atomic group, is used. Furthermore, before the antigen molecule is brought into contact with the solid phase, the antigen molecule and the nonionic surfactant are also preliminarily brought into contact with each other for 3-42 hours.
