PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with a preparatory work for making the control value coincide with the detected value in an actual test, and to dispense with the re-adjustment caused by temperature drift during testing. SOLUTION: In a mode M1 before an actual test, a hydraulic stroke is controlled with a rotor kept stopped to collect data on zero stroke points at the time t1 when a pad contacts with a rotor and on start-to-act oil pressures. In a mode M2, the rotor is rotated at a prescribed speed and coasting torque data is collected at the time t2 when it starts to coast from this speed. In a mode M3 for an actual test, actual tests are performed by using control values corrected by the use of the collected data.
