PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for predicting the temperature of a turbine inlet with high precision by a relatively simple arithmetical operation. SOLUTION: A parameter P is formed with the outlet temperature A, intake air temperature B and number of revolutions N of a gas turbine. The turbine inlet temperature is expressed as a function of the parameter from the value of the parameter P substituted with the measured outlet temperature A, intake air temperature B, and number of revolutions N and the turbine inlet temperature measured only at calibration, then the turbine inlet temperature is calculated from this function.
