PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eject selected article when a prescribed ejection waiting time passes after article selecting means 32 selects an article ID in an automatic vending machine where the article selecting means 32 are put together and arranged outside the range of an article sample displaying part 24. SOLUTION: The article sample displaying part 24 for displaying article samples displaying their article IDs is provided on the front of a machine body 11, and the article selecting means 32 are outside the area of the part 24. When the prescribed ejection waiting time passes after the means 32 selects the article ID, automatic ejection processing that ejects the selected article is performed. The article is automatically ejected without operation that decides article purchase due to the automatic ejection processing to eliminate deficiency that the article is not ejected because of forgetting to perform operation that decides the article purchase.
