PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for requesting registration of vehicles in inter- road-vehicle communication, which can enhance the efficiency of communication without wasting time. SOLUTION: In the method for requesting registration of vehicles in inter- road-vehicle communication where a frame control information slot 11 sent by a road side device assigns vehicle registration slots 17-19 to uplinks and vehicle registration channels are arranged to the vehicle registration slots 17-19, a device on a vehicle does not select any of the vehicle registration slots 17-19 at a link setup phase but tries a vehicle registration request to each of the vehicle registration slots.
