摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a solid electrolytic capacitor by which excessive insulation during reformation produced in a solid electrolyte layer formed through electrolytic polymerization can be suppressed. SOLUTION: This manufacturing method includes a step for forming a solid electrolyte layer on a dielectric layer formed on the surface of an anode through chemical polymerization, a step for forming a solid electrolyte layer on the solid electrolyte layer through electrolytic polymerization, and a step for amending a failure part produced in the dielectric layer through conducting reformation. The method features a repetitive processing of the step for forming the solid electrolyte layer through electrolytic polymerization and the step for conducting the reformation. Reformation is conducted every time the solid electrolyte layer (electrolytic polymerized layer) is formed gradually through electrolytic polymerization, so that the resistance of the solid electrolyte layer (electrolytic polymerized layer) is in a wide range and which is not be large and an increase in ESR of a product can be also suppressed.
