PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical branching/coupling device with a structure unaffecting transmitting light in the occurrence of leaked light by an optical filter branching or coupling light in the device. SOLUTION: A case 12 is provided with plural transmitting holes into which optical fibers 60 are inserted, a recess 19 which is shaped like a blind alley, and a reflection member 17, while a frame 20 has in its inside an orthogonally crossing through-hole and an optical filter 50 for optical multiplexing or coupling and the frame 20 is stored in the case 12. A light beam exited from one end of one optical fiber 60 strikes the optical filter 50, is reflected or passed through, and made to emit to other optical fiber 60; the light L leaked from the optical filter 50 strikes a reflecting member 17 through a conducting hole 34 in communication with the through-hole, is made incident on the recess 19, is repeatedly reflected inside the recess 19 and attenuated. |
