PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain the effective selection of images by grouping automatically a series of relative images among plural photographed images. SOLUTION: An electronic camera 1 can photograph a series of relative images and also can record the photographed images on a recording medium 29 together with the photographing time information and is provided with an image grouping means 20d3 which records the same photographing time about those relative images regardless of each actual photographing time when the images are recorded on the medium 29.
