PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce initial installation costs and maintenance and upgrade cost not by distributing all processing and software, and digital hardware among various cell sites but by installing them at a single place. SOLUTION: An antenna system 20 for top facility is provided with an antenna array 45 of M×N antenna elements 40, a cooperative power feeding part for operationally interconnecting the antenna elements, a backward channel for communicating with a ground base facility and a radio frequency(RF) circuit for processing an RF signal between the antenna array and a backward link. The RF circuit is provided with practically all the circuits, to which processing of the RF signal is requested between the antenna array and the backward link. |
