PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely supply lubricating oil to a slid-contact face between a valve cam and a slipper. SOLUTION: An oil guide groove 60 which is formed in opposition to a chain along the direction of rotation of the chain, introduces lubricating oil separated from he chain, and collects lubricating oil into a flow in a fixed direction and an oil dropping part 54 which is formed by protruding toward the valve system side continuously with the oil guide groove 60 to drop the lubricating oil guided by the oil guide groove 60 on a valve system are formed on a ceiling face 53 of a rocker cover 5 put in an upper part of a cylinder head. The lubricating oil scattered from the chain is collected into the oil guide groove 60 and drops on the valve system from the oil dropping part for supply. Consequently, oil can effectively be supplied to a slide part between the valve cam and the slipper to improve the wear resistance of the valve system.
