PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image pickup device which can improve the quality and editing job efficiency of the images by inserting various pieces of title information into the photographed images for editing them by means of a storage element where those piece of title information are previously stored. SOLUTION: An image editing means uses a storage element in which the various pieces of title information are written to insert these pieces of title information into the image data in the timing a user desires and which detects the title information for carrying out the editing jobs including selection and decision of sequence of image data, etc., and then generates the next reproduction sequence through the said editing jobs. Further, an input means is provided for indicating the sequence, etc., of the selection of the title information to be used, alignment between the title information and image data and editing of the image data.
