PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a preamplifier circuit which stably operates, even when temperature or power supply voltage is low. SOLUTION: The preamplifier circuit for converting a current signal obtained by converting an optical signal is converted to a voltage signal is provided with; an NPN transistor 1 for converting the current signal obtained by converting the optional signal to the voltage signal; and a resistor 5 for current fluctuation suppression connected to the collector of the NPN transistor 1 for suppressing the fluctuation of an emitter current IE of the NPN transistor 1 by making a current IX flow correspond to he temperature and/or power supply voltage.
