PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic tape cassette whose internal parts do not receive the adverse effect of ultraviolet light even when a half case has translucency. SOLUTION: The half cases of the magnetic tape cassette housing a magnetic tape so that the magnetic tape can travel in the half cases 4 and 6 having the translucency are composed so that the half cases interrupt the ultraviolet light. Besides, the storage case of the magnetic tape cassette is also composed so that the ultraviolet light is interrupted.
