PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic vending machine capable of enhancing the operability of continuous purchase without needing the re-selection of article in the case of continuous purchasing the same article. SOLUTION: An article sample displaying part 24 for displaying article samples T that display article IDs are provided on the front of a machine body 11, and article selection buttons are provided outside the area of the part 24. An article ID displaying means 51 for displaying the article ID that is selected by depressing article selection buttons is provided. An article ejecting means ejects the selected article when an inserted amount that is equal to or more than the price of the selected article exists in a money processing part and when a decision key is operated by a controlling means. The article ID is continuously displayed in the means 51 by the controlling means even after the selected article is ejected and when there is money left over that is equal to or more than the price of the selected article, it is decided that the selected article can continuously be purchased. In the case of performing continuous purchase, the article does not have to be reselected but is allowed to be continuously purchased.
