PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a burning appliance, compact in size, and convenient to use in which convection-air can be taken in, even if the appliance is placed with its back side in contact with a wall, and the like. SOLUTION: The burning appliance is provided with a flame holder 8 for the primary combustion of a mixture gas of a vaporized fuel and the primary combustion air, a combustion casing 11 in which flame 26 formed by the flame holder is surrounded, and the secondary combustion air is supplied to conduct the secondary combustion, and a convection fan 14 for supplying convection air to the combustion casing. A combustion gas discharged from the combustion casing and the convection air from the fan air mixed and let out from the outlet. The combustion casing is provided with a combustion casing cover 12 to close the top the top face, and a combustion gas outlet 30 at the side face. The fan supplies convection air from the outer upper place of the casing to the casing cover.
