PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To excellently perform detecting action by a photoelectric sensor by setting the ability of cleaning the inner surface of a transparent window part to be large in a toner residual amount detecting means provided in the toner container of a developing device. SOLUTION: A projecting part 31 constituted of transparent material is provided at a detecting window part 30 provided in the toner container 11 of the developing device, and a scraper 19 entering the inner surface part 32 of the projecting part 31 is attached to the shaft of an agitator. Then, the toner is stirred in the toner container, and action that the end faces of elastic pieces 19a and 19b elastically press and rub on the inner surface part 32 is performed, whereby cleaning is performed so that the toner may not interrupt an optical path by the sensors 35 and 36. |
