PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To guide appropriate routes and contribute to safety driving by not including routes whereby changing lanes is unreasonably forced (difficult-to-run routes) in guide routes. SOLUTION: When a point connected to a link of two or more lanes for one way is included in a route which is an object for calculating route costs (S100: YES) and there is no traffic light at the connecting point (S110: NO), it is judged whether or not there is right or left turning or branching after the connection (S120). When there is right or left turning/branching (S120: YES), a connecting lane where the vehicle is to inevitably run is specified at the connecting point (S130), and a distance 1 from the connecting point to the right or left turning/branching point and the number n of necessary times of changing lanes are calculated (S140 and S150). When the ratio (n/1) becomes larger than a predetermined value C (S160: YES), it is judged that the difficult-to-run route is included and costs of the route to be calculated are set to be relatively large. |
