OUTER DIAMETER MEASURING METHOD AND APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outer diameter measuring method and apparatus which enable measuring of the outer diameter of work without damaging the work. SOLUTION: The measuring apparatus 10 inserts work 30 into a reference hole 22A fed with a fluid and detects the current back pressure with an A/E converter 18. A control part 20 compares a detection value of the A/E converter 18 with a master reference value to be converted to the outer diameter of the work 30.
