PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve device to prevent slip out of a working member through the valve hole of a valve seat member even when the working member fixed on a retainer is separated away from the retainer. SOLUTION: The valve device 4 comprises the valve seat member 15 having the valve hole 18 and a valve seat 19; the rod-form working member 20; a retainer 21; and a slip-out preventing member 30. The working member 20 is provided at one end with a valve element part 20a and inserted in the valve hole 18, and the valve element part 20a seats the valve seat 19. The other end of the working member 20 extends through a through-hole 23 of the retainer 21 and is fixed therein. The slip-out preventing member 30 blocks the working member 20 from slipping out from the valve hole 18 in the direction of one end part.
