PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the power consumption by without using an electric motor when rotating pump impellers of a cooling water circulating pump for an engine. SOLUTION: A variable revolution speed type joint A is formed of an input shaft 21 to be rotated by an engine, an output shaft 31 arranged in the coaxial condition with the input shaft 21, a variable displacement part formed between both the shafts 21 and 31 in a housing 10 and to be changed with the relative rotation of both the shafts 21 and 31, the operating fluid filled in the displacement part and flowing with a displacement change of the displacement part, and a control means for controlling the flow of the operating fluid. The variable displacement part is formed of a sealed eccentric cylindrical space 21a1 formed in the input shaft 21 with the predetermined quantity of deviation from the axial core and a vane 32 assembled in the output shaft 31 inside of the space 21a1 movable in the radial direction. The control means is formed of a hydraulic control device C for controlling the outward pushing force of the vane 32 in the radial direction.
